OETR AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

2.20.1 HELICOPTER OPERATION PROCEDUERS.

2.20.1.1   Helicopter Departure Procedure  

Step Action
1 All departing helicopters must contact airport operation.
2 Helicopter pilot shall contact AIRPORT OPS and coordinate for ground handling and refueling services etc., as required.
3 All helicopters shall follow prescribed departure procedures.
4 Helicopters shall Follow TIBA procedures (Pilot desecration)
5 Helicopter pilot shall contact AIRPORT OPS and coordinate, if required follow me services.

2.20.1.2   Helicopter Arrival   Procedure  

Step Action
1 All arriving helicopters must use RWY (28/10) and apply TIBA procedure as per flight plan.
2 AIRPORT OPS shall allocate the Parking Stand/ Apron for arriving helicopter
3 Helicopters with under carriage landing gears must land on runway and ground taxi 3 to allocated parking stand/apron as per instructions of Operation Supervisor, parking designated for Helicopters (Stand 1) or as requested by Airport Ops.
4 Helicopters without landing gears (with skid type under carriage) must use runway for landing and once reach over touch down point on runway, shall hover and air taxi to allocated parking stand/apron as per instructions of Operation Supervisor, parking designated for Helicopters (Stand 1) or as requested by Airport Ops
5 All helicopters must use taxi via (A1) or as instructed by OPS. Helicopter pilot shall contact AIRPORT OPS and airport ops will coordinate for ground handling services, follow me services etc. if so required.
